LinkBuildingServices

Find your link building service

Four questions, three matches, and the reasons behind each one.

1. What are you building links for?
2. What's your monthly budget?
3. How hands-on do you want to be?
4. What matters most?

How the matcher works

The matcher asks four questions: what you are building links for, your monthly budget, how hands-on you want to be, and what matters most to you. Every provider we review is then scored against your answers with the same rules, and the three highest totals become your shortlist.

The budget question uses four bands: under $500 a month, $500 to $3,000 a month, $3,000 to $10,000 a month, more than $10,000 a month. Each provider sits in the band that covers its own minimum. A provider in your band gains three points and one in a lower band gains two, while a provider above your budget loses four points for every band it sits above, so a $5,000-a-month agency rarely surfaces for a budget under $500. An industry match adds three points, and a working style the provider supports adds two, whether you want to pick the sites yourself, approve them before placement, or hand everything over. Your priority then shifts the total: lowest cost gives two points to providers in the cheapest band, strongest editorial links and fast delivery reward link quality or turnaround scores above 8 out of 10 and count against scores below it, and white-label reporting adds three points to providers that offer it.

Three kinds of buyer see a narrower field. Casino, crypto and local businesses are matched only with providers that serve those markets, and citation services appear only for local businesses. Only providers with a positive total are shown, and a tie goes to the provider higher in our overall ranking, which follows the published method. No provider pays to be matched or to move up.

What happens after

Each match shows the provider's model, our one-line verdict, the reasons it scored (up to three) and its pricing, with buttons to read the full review or compare all three side by side. Below the shortlist you can ask the editors for a second opinion on it. The request form takes a work email, your website if you want to share it, and a spam check; it sends your answers and matches to hello@linkbuildingservices.org, and the reply comes from the same address. The notes cover what to ask each provider before you sign.

Matcher FAQ

Does the matcher favor any provider?

No. Every provider is scored by the same rules against your four answers, and nobody pays to be matched or to move up. When two services tie, the one higher in our overall ranking shows first, and that ranking follows the published method.

Why do some budgets show fewer options?

Each provider sits in the price band that covers its own minimum. A service above your budget loses four points for every band it sits above, and only services with a positive total are shown, so most drop out. Casino, crypto and local buyers also see only providers that serve those markets, which narrows the field further.

Can I change my answers?

Yes. Pick a different option in any question and press the button again; the new shortlist replaces the old one and the request form starts fresh. Nothing is saved between visits, so reloading the page clears it.
