The HOTH review
A self-serve SEO store where agencies and small businesses order links, content and local SEO products from a dashboard, with managed plans on top.

The HOTH review in brief
The HOTH has sold productized SEO since 2010 and suits small businesses that want packaged links and managed campaigns. Reviewers praise account managers, writing quality and support. But its Trustpilot record also carries two serious complaints worth reading before you buy: low-traffic sites behind high DR scores, and HOTH X credits that make canceling expensive.

Overview
The HOTH sells link building, local SEO, content and managed campaigns through a dashboard from St. Petersburg, Florida. Its outreach guest posts run from $150 at DR 20+ to $405 at DR 50+, with its managed service, HOTH X, starting at $1,000 a month.
Across 272 Trustpilot reviews the positive pattern is consistent: well-trained account managers, responsive support, satisfactory writing and measurable ranking improvements, with several reviewers describing monthly screenshare calls and named campaign managers.
The negative pattern matters just as much. One reviewer describes HOTH X links as low-quality with inflated DR scores, advising buyers to run proposed sites through an independent tool first. Another describes a credit structure where monthly bonus credits must be repaid on cancellation, making it costly to leave. The HOTH replies publicly and in detail to both.

Read the HOTH X terms carefully
The most detailed complaint on Trustpilot describes monthly bonus credits of $200 to $300 that must be returned if you cancel, which the reviewer says made leaving as expensive as staying. The HOTH's reply points to its onboarding explanation of contract and cancellation policy. Whatever the rights and wrongs, the lesson is simple: ask for the cancellation terms in writing before you start a managed campaign.
A one-star Trustpilot review dated May 20, 2026 describes spending about $13,000 while clicks and impressions fell, and being pressed to spend more. The HOTH replied publicly.
How to check link quality yourself
The other serious complaint alleges that proposed sites had minimal traffic despite high DR. That's checkable in minutes: ask for the target list, run each domain through an independent traffic tool, and look at whether the site publishes anything beyond sponsored posts. Any reputable provider will expect that check.
Who The HOTH suits
Small businesses and agencies that value a broad, easy-to-order menu and hands-on account management, and that will do their own quality checks on proposed placements. Buyers focused on link quality alone can get more for their money elsewhere, including at Authority Builders, which Next Net Media owns alongside The HOTH (Business Wire, October 2023).
